​Our Story

In 2008, Melissa, a newly single mom, began cleaning homes to support her family. Her part-time gig quickly developed into a passion for decluttering and a commitment to creating clean and peaceful spaces for her clients. In 2013, Melissa founded Fresh Start and continues to help clients transform their homes into sanctuaries they can truly enjoy!

What we offer

Basic Cleaning
We offer comprehensive cleaning services that include floors, wiping cabinets, counters, and small appliances, as well as scrubbing sinks and cleaning toilets, showers, and tubs. We make beds and change linens upon request, along with high dusting and baseboard cleaning to ensure a pristine finish.
Deep Cleaning
A basic cleaning plus these added tasks:

Inside of oven and refrigerator

Inside of kitchen cabinets

Window cleaning

Pulling out accessible furniture & dusting/vacuuming behind

* Please note deep cleaning and other special projects require a one-week notice so we may set aside the appropriate time for you!

Outside of Windows (unless they are the new ones that pull in)

Cleaning up after pets (cat pans, cleaning up yard, pets cages)

Cleaning of vehicles

Service Disclaimer*
Fresh Start does not guarantee the removal of stains from rust, mildew, or hard water due to lack of maintenance. Please ensure areas are clutter-free and inform us of items needing special care. We are not liable for damage from improper installation and assume all surfaces are sealed and safe to clean. Furniture on wood floors should have proper protection.
Please Note*
For hygiene reasons, we do not provide toilet bowl brushes. If you need one before your cleaning, just let me know, and we will gladly purchase one for you beforehand. We only clean windows and blinds accessible with a 2-step ladder. For safety, please avoid other work during cleaning, as it may impact our estimates and cleaning time. No heavy furniture will be moved.
Cancellations*
We understand that cancellations can occur, but we request a 24-hour notice if you can't keep your scheduled cleaning. For Monday appointments, please notify us by the end of business on Friday. Failure to provide this notice will result in a $45.00 fee added to your next cleaning. Thank you for understanding!
